Glad you asked, we schedule appointments for your privacy and safety! and to give the best service. Criminals are becoming more daring when it comes to robberies. Stores with open doors and no appointment policies expose you to criminals who can be watching for people with valuables to be followed and robbed as you get home. We have even heard of some unscrupulous minimum wage workers setting up customers with high value items to be robbed. Your life isn't worth the risk. Markham Numismatic has been in business for 35 years, we belong to the BBB with an A+ rating. This is why we make appointments so we can purchase your items in our safe and secure office.
We are BBB Accredited Coin Appraisers. Preferred by Banks, Courts,Trusts and even the Securities and Exchange Commission has requested our Expert Coin Appraisal services . We work with people who have coin collections that they would like liquidated. We give customers liquidity for Rare Coins and Coin Collections. We evaluate coin collections at no charge, if we purchase coin collections of value. If we don't purchase your coins, than a miniumum evaluation fee of $250 would understandably apply. We also provide expert coin appraisals which start at $250.00. these are usually for Probate and Trust matters. If we end up purchasing coins of value. the appraisal fee can be waived. In Home Appointments available to purchase larger coin collections .
